𝐒𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐬 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 At the New European Bauhaus Festival 2026, we explored how starting from what is really needed can reshape our buildings and work environments. Together with the Joint Research Centre (JRC-Geel and JRC.R), the Citizen’s Forum pilot NEB building project showed how sufficiency can be used as a concrete design method to achieve high-quality, low-impact spaces.
