A new chapter in Catholic education has begun in Brisbane with the opening and blessing of St John Henry Newman College, a classical education school committed to forming young people in wisdom, virtue and faith. Archbishop Shane Mackinlay recently blessed the College community, including students, staff, families, founders and supporters, during an opening Mass. Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott also attended the significant occasion, celebrating a shared vision for education grounded in truth, beauty and goodness. As the College begins its journey, we pray for its students, families and staff as they build a strong community of learning and faith for generations to come.
