“We are so excited to announce the opening of A Very Special Place, Inc. (AVSP) Gift Shop at Carmel Richmond Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center! It’s a great shop with an even greater purpose. The shop serves as a job training site for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive environment. Thank you to the representatives from Jessica Scarcella-Spanton and District Attorney Michael McMahon’s office for joining us at the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. At ArchCare, we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner as a community and create real opportunities that improve people’s lives.
