Have you gotten a chance to check out season finale of the Detailed Podcast by ARCAT? Episode 180 | CME Center - Chicago 👥 Krueck Sexton Partners In a downtown packed with towers, Chicago weather sends people ducking through buildings to escape the summer heat and the winter cold. Most lobbies treat that habit as something to stop. At the CME Center, the team did the opposite. Rather than pushing everyone through the central concourse, they traced a second path along Wacker Drive. Untangling that circulation became the first real move. It also became the thing that generated the design itself. Watch the full episode to hear Yugene Cha, AIA and Luke Haas from Krueck Sexton Partners break down how pedestrian movement shaped the CME Center Lobby. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eSJnYzS7 Project Team: Photography: Kendall McCaugherty (Hall + Merrick + McCaugherty Photographers) Owner: Tishman Speyer Architecture: Krueck Sexton Partners General Contractor: Lendlease Façade Design: Thornton Tomasetti / Edward Peck Design MEP: Energy Systems Design, Inc.
