Gas production at these sites in Netherlands is now a thing of the past. 🏭 What comes next is just as important. More than 1,000 unused oil and gas wells, along with dozens of production sites, are being safely dismantled and restored. Through the SITURN initiative, a collaboration between NAM, Arcadis, and The WellGear Group, we’re supporting the responsible decommissioning of facilities and returning the land to its original state by securely sealing wells, removing infrastructure, and assessing soil conditions. With a shared commitment to protecting communities and the environment, this work marks the final and critical chapter of the energy production lifecycle.
