A major new rail facility is moving forward for the UK’s high-speed network. Arcadis has been appointed to provide design and program management services for the new High Speed 2 (HS2) rolling stock depot and Network Integrated Control Center at Washwood Heath. Valued at more than €90 million, the contract covers a 30-hectare site that will bring together train maintenance, rail systems, inspection, sidings, and testing.
