🧡 Housing security matters for victim-survivors 🧡 A new report from Victorian Council of Social Service (VCOSS) has found family violence victim-survivors remain one of the largest groups seeking support with rental issues. Frontline workers reported ongoing barriers, including discrimination, difficulty finding housing and challenges accessing their rights as renters. At ARC Justice, we know safe housing plays a critical role in safety, recovery and independence. Alongside our direct legal support for victim-survivors, we continue to advocate for housing and tenancy systems that better recognise the realities of family violence and remove barriers to safe, stable housing.
