Congratulations to our portfolio company, Spiritus, on signing a Joint Development Agreement with aramco’s Research & Development Center to help advance next-scale Direct Air Capture (DAC).   The collaboration aims to focus on the engineering and development of a 100 tons-per-year DAC pilot system, combining Spiritus’s proprietary high-capacity sorbent technology with Aramco R&DC’s advanced process engineering and heat-integration capabilities.   Designed for the region’s ambient, solar, and grid conditions, the pilot’s objective is to represent a step toward lower-cost carbon removal solutions and aims to explore pathways toward $100 per tons DAC.   We’re proud to support Spiritus on this milestone as they work to advance practical and scalable carbon capture technologies globally.
