🧫🐟 Come Join Our Lab! 🔬✨ Infection Biology | Zebrafish Models | Macrophage Immunity We are building an exciting research program at the Department of Zoology, University of Kashmir, focused on understanding how immune cells fight infectious diseases using zebrafish infection models, macrophage transgenic lines, live imaging, and functional genetics. 🔬 Our lab interests include: 🦠 Host–pathogen interactions in Mycobacterium infection 🐟 Zebrafish larval infection models for real-time in vivo imaging 🛡️ Macrophage biology, phagocytosis, and innate immune responses 🧫 Macrophage transgenic zebrafish lines to study immune-cell behavior during infection 🧬 CRISPR/Cas9-based gene manipulation and functional genetics 🔬 Confocal microscopy, live imaging, and molecular biology 💊 Host-directed therapeutic strategies against tuberculosis and related infectious diseases We are looking for motivated, curious, and enthusiastic young researchers who are excited to work at the interface of immunology, microbiology, genetics, infection biology, and advanced imaging. 📢 Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under our ANRF-funded research project. 📧 Interested candidates may send their Letter of Interest and CV to: [email protected] Please share with interested students, postgraduates, and young researchers.
