Exhibition booths get weeks of performance planning for 4 days of use. Too often, retail spaces and showrooms are briefed around how they should look. Not around how they should perform. A booth is designed around three questions: → Can the right people see you from the aisle? → Does the space pull visitors from curiosity to conversation? → Does everything support the interaction you need? A showroom or retail space should answer the same three questions. Every single day. For years. But when the brief starts with aesthetics, performance becomes an afterthought. And afterthoughts do not guide behaviour. The same system that makes a booth work for 4 days can make a retail space work for 10 years. The thinking is identical. The timeline is different.
