⚙️ Allow users to delete chats in Gemini! Google just introduced two new administrator controls for the Gemini app, giving you more flexibility over how your team's data is handled. Here is what is changing for Google Workspace admins: ⏱️ Temporary chats: You can now allow users to have off-the-record conversations that won't be saved to their history. 🗑️ Conversation deletion: You can choose whether users can delete individual chats or clear their entire history. 🔒 Vault compliance: if your organization uses Google Vault, your retention rules and litigation holds will always be honored. The admin controls are rolling out right now, and end-users will start seeing these options on June 21, 2026. You can easily disable or configure them at the domain, OU, or group level.
