Construction has begun on the next phase of APM Terminals Callao's expansion, a USD 570 million investment that will strengthen one of Peru's most important trade gateways. By 2030, the modernisation will increase the North Terminal's capacity from 1.3 million to 1.75 million containers, and from 13.5 million to 18 million tonnes of general cargo annually.
