Apex Health senior delegation, led by our Group CEO Joe Hazel, traveled to #AddisAbaba as part of the group's strategic international expansion strategy. The mission included site visits to both operational and newly developed public #hospitals across the capital, providing firsthand insight into Ethiopia's evolving healthcare infrastructure landscape. The delegation held formal meetings with the Mayor of Addis Ababa and the Ethiopian Minister of Health, with discussions centered on healthcare system development, infrastructure investment, and the role of private sector expertise in advancing national health outcomes. Engagements with leading private sector operators in-country further enriched the Group's understanding of the market its strengths, its gaps, and the opportunities for meaningful, sustainable partnership. Ethiopia represents a compelling proposition: a rapidly growing population, strong governmental commitment to healthcare reform, and an environment increasingly receptive to high-quality private sector participation.
