🇫🇷 The visit of French Minister for Industry, Sébastien Martin, to Aperam Alloys Imphy on June 12 highlighted the strategic role of industry in supporting regional economic development and employment. 🏭 During the visit, our teams had the opportunity to showcase Aperam Alloys Imphy's expertise, innovative capabilities, and global outlook. Guided by Eric Bardet, Plant Manager at Aperam Alloys Imphy, discussions focused on our products, current challenges, and future growth prospects, all driven by the commitment and technical excellence of our employees. The Minister also toured our production facilities, recognizing the professionalism, dedication, and pride demonstrated by our teams every day. The visit continued with a round table dedicated to the Territoires d’industrie initiative, bringing together local representatives and industrial stakeholders to discuss the future of employment, investment, and economic attractiveness in the Nièvre region. Since its launch in 2018, this program has fostered strong collaboration between public and private actors to strengthen local industrial ecosystems. These exchanges provided an opportunity to reflect on the progress achieved over the past seven years and to identify the key investment drivers needed to sustain and strengthen the local job market. This aligns closely with Aperam's recent announcement of €160 million in investments across Europe to further expand its alloys and specialties business, enhance energy efficiency, and strengthen operational synergies throughout the region. 🤝 A sincere thank you to Minister Martin and all participants for these constructive discussions. Together, we continue to demonstrate that a strong, innovative, and people-driven industry is a key driver of regional prosperity.
