With Thanksgiving around the corner, I wanted to share my deepest gratitude for the past six months of getting to help bring revolutionary technology to the world at Aepnus Technology. Post–graduate school, I hoped to stay close to early-stage climate work, even when it felt tempting to take a more familiar or stable route. I’m really glad I trusted that instinct and found my way to Aepnus, where I get to work with some of the most talented and dedicated people pushing the boundaries of industrial decarbonization. These months have been incredibly rewarding, from re-learning basic chemistry to settling into the Bay Area to working alongside people who care deeply about what they are creating. I’m especially grateful to Lukas Hackl and Bilen Akuzum for taking a chance on me and trusting me to work side by side with them every day.
