This weekend in Bordeaux, had a wonderful experience visiting Château Côte de Baleau. As someone who enjoys understanding how industries create value, I found wine business very fascinating. Vineyard is where agriculture meets science. Where tourism meets hospitality; branding meets tradition. And where patience eventually becomes a premium product. What struck me most was this: A bottle of wine is one of the few products for which customers willingly pay more because time has passed. The grapes may take a season to grow, yet the real value is created and even multipled over years. In a world obsessed with speed, vineyards remind us that some things simply cannot be rushed. Consistency matters. Discipline matters. Patience matters. And maturity has its own value. One of the highlights of the visit was learning about the famous “5 S’s” of wine appreciation: See. Swirl. Sniff. Sip. Savor. Perhaps not a bad approach to life and business either..... #BusinessLessons #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #WineIndustry #Innovation #BrandBuilding #BusinessStrategy #LearningJourney #France #GrowthMindset Ankita P.
