Apaleo is growing 🌟 We are excited to introduce six people who bring very different stories, and exactly the right energy to our Team: Daniel Rossmann joined us in March as Head of Sales. Eight years building account teams at Amazon, a long track record in international expansion and SaaS, and he even lectures on AI. With two kids, a sailing hobby, and a tennis racket somewhere in the mix, he brings a lot of energy to the team. Marcel Sauer is our new Platform Accounting Manager since March. He came up through hotel operations at Radisson, then used the pandemic to completely reinvent himself in accounting. Structured, data-driven, and pragmatic, he found his way to Apaleo through ChatGPT. (We love that 💛) Johannes Fluhrer is our new Account Director. He has sat at every seat in hospitality: consultant, owner, operator, and on the ground. Outside of work he is into skiing and art, and he became a certified wedding officiant just to officiate his sister's wedding. Viktoria Kaiurova started as Customer Education Manager. Before Apaleo, she designed learning experiences for hospitality projects across Europe and the Middle East. Outside of work she cooks, explores Berlin's classical music scene, and has made it to 3,000 metres in the Georgian mountains. 🏔️ Ostap Kravchuk started as Senior Software Engineer. Outside of work he is into acroyoga, hiking, and skiing, and is still working his way through a kitesurfing course. 🌊 Thiago Lunardi joins as Software Engineering Manager. He has been building web applications since the 90s and is a former kart racer. When he is not shipping code, he is pulling shots as a home espresso enthusiast, or cleaning the house when bored.
