What does it mean to truly design for life? Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent's recently featured project in Architectural Digest offers one of the most honest answers we've seen in a long time. A 400-year-old farmhouse in rural Portugal — in ruins when they found it — transformed over five years into a multigenerational family home rooted in memory, identity, and place. The home began as an homage to Jeremiah's Portuguese grandmother, who dreamed of returning to her homeland. That emotional starting point shaped every decision: restoring ancient aqueducts, converting an old bakery into a home for his mother, preserving the land's sheep and peacocks alongside a stunning checkerboard marble pool reimagined from a historic water tank. At AP Estudio de Interiorismo, this is the kind of work that moves us deeply — not because of the scale or the prestige, but because of what it represents: ✦ Design grounded in personal narrative ✦ Respect for materials, history, and landscape ✦ The courage to work slowly, and work well The most powerful interiors don't just look beautiful. They hold something — a story, a legacy, a feeling you can't quite name but immediately recognize. Here in Marbella, we work with clients who feel the same way about their homes. Whether it's a beachfront apartment or a rural finca, we believe every space deserves that same depth of intention. #InteriorDesign #APEstudioDeInteriorismo #Marbella #DesignInspiration #Architecture #Marbella #LuxuryInteriors #TimelessDesign https://lnkd.in/e-cGaVvZ
