The proposed IPO of Turtlemint marks a significant milestone in the continued development of India’s insurtech sector. Valued at approximately INR8,826.7 million, the offering comprises a fresh issue and an offer for sale, with shares listed on the NSE and BSE. As only the second insurtech listing in India, the transaction highlights the sector’s increasing maturity and continued ability to access public markets. It also reflects the resilience of India’s equity capital markets and sustained investor interest in technology-led platforms, notwithstanding a more selective global capital raising environment.
