For nearly a decade, Aon has invested in apprenticeships and skills‑based hiring to help expand access to early-career opportunities. This week, we convened more than 30 business, education and civic leaders at our Chicago office to discuss how organizations can strengthen talent strategies in a rapidly evolving, AI‑enabled economy. Governor JB Pritzker joined the discussion, underscoring the critical role employers play in preparing the next generation of talent. Aon President and CEO Greg Case emphasized that employers have a responsibility to design talent strategies that evolve alongside technology - ensuring early‑career pathways remain strong as jobs, skills and roles change.
