Step inside the studio....scifi....behind the scene of my sound ! I’m currently scoring a new sci-fi project that dives deep into the intersection of humans and machines exploring biomechanics, humanoids, and a dark, cybernetic future. The visuals demanded a soundscape that feels raw, mechanical, and dangerous. To capture that energy, I crafted a heavy, high-energy industrial sci-fi vibe driven by aggressive big beat rhythms and a gritty, dystopian atmosphere. For a project about machines, I chose a strictly human approach: no AI. AI simply cannot replicate the raw emotion of turning physical knobs, the unpredictability of electricity, or the grit of true hardware. I wanted this music to feel organic and alive. To build this sonic world, I stepped away from the screen and pushed the analog gear to its limits: SOMA Lyra 8 for unpredictable, organic textures Moog for heavy, crushing basslines Arturia for sharp, driving sequences Make Noise Strega for distorted, cinematic drones The result is a dirty, mechanical fusion of biology and technology translated into sound.
