Good Evening #LinkedInConnections, As an Image Consultant, I strongly believe that a person's image is built on integrity, character, and accountability. For women especially, protecting one's dignity and personal brand is essential in both personal and professional spheres. Some experiences are uncomfortable to discuss openly, yet sharing them can help others recognize risks, make informed choices, and encourage future generations to speak up without fear or hesitation. Recently, I had the opportunity to share my personal journey with Jonathan Macdonald along with my cousin sister. As a woman who experienced some difficult realities while searching for a life partner through digital matchmaking platforms, I spoke about the challenges many individuals face on dating and matrimonial applications. While platforms such as Aisle and Shaadi.com have helped countless people find meaningful relationships, there are also concerns that deserve attention. Open-access features and limited verification mechanisms can sometimes create opportunities for deception, emotional manipulation, financial exploitation, and other forms of misconduct. Discussing these issues on LinkedIn may feel unconventional, but the reality is that many individuals we encounter on such platforms are also professionals within our networks. Behind polished profiles and successful careers, there can sometimes be a significant gap between projected image and personal conduct. During our discussion, we explored different behavioural patterns often encountered in online matchmaking spaces and how questions around integrity, transparency, commitment, and respect can reveal the true nature of a relationship. 🎥 Watch the discussion here: https://lnkd.in/gHE2MF_E I would like to open a respectful conversation:💌 Do you believe that traditional family values and relationship ethics remain strong in today's digital world, or has the rise of online identities made it easier for people to hide behind carefully crafted personas? Would appreciate your support and comments on these rising concerns of relationship, companionship exploitation, catfishing etc. # Follow SocialMeToo #ImageConsultant #PersonalBranding #OnlineDating #MatrimonialApps #DigitalIdentity #Integrity #RelationshipEthics #WomenEmpowerment #ProfessionalImage #Leadership #Trust #LinkedInCommunity
