There are moments in your career where you pause and realise how far you’ve come. I recently hosted a podcast for the US Highbush Blueberry Council of India at Nagpur on the awareness of consuming blueberries. From being someone who was deeply curious about communication and confidence… to now sitting across accomplished individuals and leading meaningful conversations, the journey feels surreal. One such conversation was with Vikram Gandhe, MasterChef India 2026 winner. What stood out was not just his success, but the clarity, discipline, and passion behind it. It reminded me how every industry, whether culinary or consulting is built on consistency and self-belief. But here’s something I’ve learnt along the way, especially as an image consultant: Showing up isn’t just about being present. It’s about being intentional. For this event, I didn’t just pick an outfit. I designed an image. An image that reflected: • credibility, because I was hosting • approachability, because I was conversing • and confidence, because I was representing myself and my work And I’m sure many of you have felt this too, standing in front of your wardrobe before an important day, wondering, “Does this truly represent who I am today?” Because the truth is inside surely reflects outside! This experience reminded me that growth is not just about skills or opportunities. It’s also about how you choose to present yourself in those moments that matter.
