Managing Director - CAMS
As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting less on milestones and more on momentum, the kind that comes from clarity of purpose, disciplined execution and exceptional teams. At Computer Age Management Services (CAMS), this year was about building future-ready financial infrastructure while staying deeply rooted in trust and scale. The AUM crossed ₹52 lakh crore, representing ~68% market share, reaffirming our leadership position. Here are some highlights from the journey: - Building new engines of growth and scaling with confidence We expanded our innovation stack with the launch of CAMSAi, including CAMS Lens, applying AI meaningfully to regulatory intelligence, operations and decision making. We also introduced Bima Central Administrator, ConsenPro, CAMSPay UPI Offline Plus and CompaREITnow. We also deepened client partnerships across mutual funds, AIFs and emerging segments like SIF, supported by dedicated on-ground teams. CAMS’ infrastructure is built to support many more AMCs. That confidence translated into action, we onboarded 6 AMCs in the last 10 months, with several more on the horizon. - Brand evolution & platforms with purpose We undertook the rebranding of CAMSPay and CAMSKRA, sharpening their identities as focused, independent platforms serving rapidly evolving ecosystems. - Thought leadership & industry collaboration At CII Mutual Fund Summit 2025, we released B30 Locations: Performance and Potential Report, which unveils the story of emerging India - one that holds the key to the mutual fund industry's next tipping point. - Engaging with the ecosystem From Global Fintech Fest to India International Trade Fair, the conversations this year reinforced one thing clearly: India’s financial infrastructure story is just getting started. - Rewards & Recognition Our insurance platform, Bima Central and rAIdar by Think360.ai, earned industry recognition, affirming our belief in building horizontal, shared utilities for India’s financial sector. Being recognised as ET Turnaround CEO of the Year was humbling as turnarounds are always collective efforts. I’m grateful to our teams, partners, regulators and clients for their trust and collaboration. Entering 2026, our focus remains clear: scaling with stability, innovating responsibly, and driving purposeful growth. Here’s wishing you a momentous, fulfilling, and eventful New Year.
