Last month PhD Candidate Michelle Jasper launched the Handbook of Innovation Ecosystems alongside it's author Dr John H Howard, ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, and CEO of Canberra Innovation Network (CBRIN) Petr Adámek. Michelle, as Chair of the CBRIN Advisory Committee guided the panel through a discussion featuring Canberra's innovation ecosystem across time, including touching on Canberra's future as an innovation corridor. Michelle's own PhD project focuses on decision-making in early-stage venture capital, looking at the emerging role of AI in these processes, and drawing on Stafford Beer's Viable Systems Model.
