How does AI compress human noise? In a multi award-winning short film, “Human Movie: Six Mediations on a Compression Algorithm”, alumni Eryk Salvaggio examines the idea of AI as a filter for noise. Blending glitched AI generated video, archival and found footage, Eryk presents “Human Movie” as a performance lecture, drawing on his expertise as a writer, artist, and cybernetician to expose the nuance in comparisons between humans and modern computer systems.
