After close to five years of an amazing journey helping Uniper move into renewables, I took the decision to end my chapter at Uniper. Above all, I’ll take the wonderful people, the teams at UniperRenewables and colleagues from Fortum in the first period, whose curiosity, courage and generosity made every day meaningful. Thank you so much !!! 🙏🙏🙏 Special thanks to some of my “brothers in crime” who became very good friends Jörg Lennertz, Dan Garlin, Petri Haataja, Matti Manner, and of course to Dr. Frank P. Possmeier, mentor at Uniper, challenger and friend: Thank you, guys, for the guidance, trust and friendship !!!🙏🙏🙏 Within my lovely and large (~100 colleagues) PD family spread over Hungary, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and the UK, thank you so much for your unwavering support and for making my job so easy to enjoy. 🙏🙏🙏 I’m deeply proud of what we built together: helping lay the foundations for Uniper to be a serious multi‑GW player in solar, wind and BESS, with portfolios across seven EU countries. This summer, in a family “board meeting” in Menorca 😄 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧 🏝️ , we unanimously decided on the next chapter of my career, and a very exciting opportunity to keep contributing at multi‑GW scale to the transformation of our Europeanenergy system is just around the corner. My journey in renewables started 23 years ago. However, with so much still to do to build a clean, reliable, and affordable energy system for everyone, I feel energized for what’s ahead. 💪 To the entire Uniper family: thank you for the trust, the learning and the laughs.
