After 5 years at Fable, what started as a role quickly turned into something much bigger. I learned what accessibility truly means, not just as a practice, but as a responsibility. It’s about listening better, building better and recognizing that the details we overlook can completely shape someone else’s experience. Working in a startup environment pushed me in ways I didn’t expect. It taught me how to adapt quickly while staying grounded when things are constantly evolving. There’s something special about building alongside people who genuinely care about the mission and doing things the right way. It challenged how I communicate and how I handle uncertainty, regardless of how whelmed I am (over or under). It made me patient, driven, and a lot more aware of the impact we can have when we’re intentional. To the team at Fable, thank you! For the trust, the collaboration, and the countless moments that made this experience what it was. You’re building something that matters, and I’m proud to have been part of it - Julie Morrissey, Danielle Graham, Perry Trinier, Bryan Fullerton, Holly Harnack, Abenav Vijayakumaran , Mohammad Owainati, Chris Bolton, Ali Brown, Jeslin Shaji, Doug MacKendrick, Tiffany Szymanski, Souparno Bandyopadhyay and to everyone who was part of this journey in ways big or small. For now, “The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance”
