🥇 🥈 🥉 This weekend the 2026 Professional Triathletes Organisation T100 World Tour season reached USA as part of the iconic Sokin Escape from Alcatraz triathlon weekend. WATCH THE HIGHLIGHTS: https://lnkd.in/emJ6gCGc The diversity of bikes & equipment alongside the increasing use of additive manufacturing & customised bike setups within the professional field continues to highlight the complexity of supporting elite racing. 20 Pro Athlete bike statistics from race day that we can share: (... as all can be seen in transition!) ✅ 20 bikes had rear disk wheels installed. ✅ 19 athletes using 12-speed drivetrains ✅ 18 hour shift for bike mechanic team on race day ✅ 17 bikes equipped with rear hydration bottles ✅ 16 160mm brake rotors, (front or rear or both) ✅ 15 bikes running 1x chainring setups ✅ 14 helmets had white paint on them ✅ 13 different bike brands represented ✅ 12 neutral support spare wheels on course ✅ 11 different wheel brands raced ✅ 10 bikes were black in colour that raced ✅ 9 different saddle brands installed  ✅ 8 different cockpit brands installed  ✅ 8 bikes using oversized derailleur pulley systems ✅ 7 bikes carrying frame-mounted hydration bottles ✅ 6 different chainring sizes ✅ 6 different pedal brands ✅ 5 different tire brands ✅ 5 bikes running 2x front-chainring configurations ✅ 5 different rear cassette gear ratios ✅ 4 different chain brands installed on drivetrains ✅ 4 different tire widths ✅ 3 different crank length specifications ✅ 2 different rear derailleur brands ✅ 1 bike racing on rim brakes   Throughout race week BREAKTHROUGH SPORTS delivered: ✔️ Full logistic management & transport of inventory spares for all of the above bike specifications. ✔️ A custom, confidential workshop facility with athlete turbo training area. ✔️ Full bike transfer logistics of every PRO bike to and from the race venue. ✔️ Complete race day neutral support via "Tec-Zone" areas. ✔️ A fully equipped Moto mechanic positioned on course via race metrics ✔️ Post-race service for bike packing   Achieving ZERO mechanical DNS or DNF’s did not just happen…. Supporting this within a live race environment requires extensive preparation, inventory management and direct collaboration with athletes, teams and technical industry partners.
