"How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" Last Friday marked the end of my journey at AWS / Amazon. What started as a desire to squeeze in one final internship before I graduated has set me on an adventure of a lifetime - and started me on a career I never thought I could have. Since I joined as an intern in 2020, many things have changed. However, one constant has been the Amazonians—both current and former—whom I met along the way. They embodied the Leadership Principles and inspired me to do the same every day. And as I step into my next adventure, it is only right that I take some time to thank everyone (simply too many to tag in one post) that I have crossed paths with - for the kindness, grace and support I have received. It is hard to say goodbye, but I know I leave AWS / Amazon wiser and stronger, carrying the memories made and lessons learnt. It has truly been a privilege and honour.
