After a meaningful experience in Scene52 as their Events and Sceneography Assistant Head, I finally took the time to sit down and put my gratitude into words. Event planning isn’t glamorous and we definitely faced our fair share of last-minute hiccups, very late nights, and countless moving parts. But it also brought some of my most rewarding moments: seeing our ideas become reality, watching our members have fun pulling events together and participants enjoy what we created. Not to mention working alongside Bradley Ganesh and Sofia Teo as my fellow Events EXCOs; my lovely Management, Aljean C. Totaan and Gwyneth Tan; our beloved Publicity, Liyana Lee, Ellsee Talavera and Amriel Lee; and last but not least our super talented Photography and Videography comm Tessa Leong, Ting Xuan Low and Ng Eu Qi —all ten of you made my Scene experience unforgettable and every trial and tribulation worthwhile 😋❤️ Thinking back, I learned how to juggle multiple priorities, stay calm under pressure, and lean on others’ strengths when challenges came up. These lessons go beyond events, they’re things I’ll carry with me wherever I go. My experience in Scene52 has definitely contributed to my current abilities and shaped who I am today. As I watch the next batch of EXCOs take on Scarefest’25, I’m reminded of my own wonderful and challenging journey. I’m excited to see them have fun and bring their own creativity into it. I have no doubt Scene52 is in great hands 💗
