Wake Forest University is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to join our Human Resources team. The Benefits Manager will play a critical role in leading the design, implementation, and administration of our comprehensive health, welfare, and retirement programs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Oversight: Evaluate and evolve benefit plans to ensure competitive market positioning, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with institutional goals. Team Leadership: Manage and develop the benefits administration team while overseeing key external vendor and broker relationships. Compliance & Governance: Ensure all programs strictly adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and IRS guidelines. Communication: Drive clear, accessible, and transparent communication strategies to maximize employee engagement and understanding of their benefits. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in benefits strategy, plan design, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
