The most heartbreaking part of regional conflict impacting your operations isn't the revenue drop or the empty rooms. It's watching the services, functions and succession planning you've spent years building disintegrate in a matter weeks, right in front of your eyes. Dubai's hospitality sector has been hit hard this spring, and we are not out of the woods yet. We've lost guests, suppliers, partners, contacts, team members. And yet we're expected to deliver the same level of service as before the regional conflict erupted back in March. Our teams are facing a bigger challenge in the coming weeks and months than perhaps ever before — rebuilding motivation, capability and service standards from the ground up. It will take meticulous planning, and I won't pretend we're on top of it yet. But I know this: if anyone is going to do it, we will. We've done it before - we'll do it again. My teams across the two hotels have been through more than most. And they are true fighters, every single one of them. Track record is proven. We just need a bit of time to get back on our feet.
