One of the moments that has stayed with me most from #Automate was a realization I had while standing on one of the biggest stages of my career: for the first time, I wasn't nervous. ๐ŸŽค I've spent a lot of time thinking about why. ๐Ÿ’ญ It wasn't because I'd suddenly mastered public speaking. It's because the message I was sharing was never mine alone. โœ In this article I share my lessons from being on stage at Automate. Here's what I learned: Confidence comes from conviction, and conviction is built by an entire team. The people who challenge your thinking, push your ideas further, and do the work the audience doesn't have the chance to see. The person holding the microphone gets the visibility but the message belongs to the team.
