The analysis of morphostructural data obtained by imaging, correlated with the genetic/molecular results of liquid biopsy, could provide useful predictive factors for early diagnosis and predicting the response to anti-cancer drugs. The study aims to design and develop a report structured in CT with contrast media, which includes, in addition to the subjective evaluation of the radiologist, a quantitative/objective assessment of lung cancer (LC) with features that describe the texture and morphology of the lesion. The latest #report authored by Drs. Maria Paola Belfiore et al.* presents a workflow that extract and analyze contrast-enhanced CT images for accurate characterization of lung cancer lesions. These imaging findings are correlated with genetic mutations and epigenetic changes detected through liquid biopsy, aiming to reduce unnecessary biopsies and support personalized treatment for lung cancer patients. ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ณ๐๐น๐น ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐น๐ฒ: https://lnkd.in/ddq2bzNQ Editors in Chief, Professors Antonio Giordano, Sbarro Health Research Organization & ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ผ, AUSL Reggio Emilia Executive Editor, Professor Francesca Pentimalli, Universitร LUM Edra S.p.A. #LiquidBiopsy #LungCancer #CancerScreening #CancerResearch #Oncology *Drs.
