There are posts you appreciate… and those that truly reflect a journey. This is one of them. Thank you, Olga Sobieraj for capturing so well what this work means for our team. From the start, my ambition was clear: not just to build a high-performing finance team, but a true business partner - able to challenge, guide, and bring clarity, not only deliver answers. In finance, it’s not easy. Deadlines and pressure often push us to move fast, say "yes" quickly, and focus on the "how" before fully understanding the "why". But over time, this weakens real partnership. That’s why this journey mattered. It was never about being “more assertive.” It was about building the confidence to: • take initiative • seek real understanding • address difficult topics early • solve problems, not avoid them • and do all of this with mutual respect Because true partnership is not about saying "yes" faster. It’s about combining expertise with responsibility - supporting and challenging at the same time. What makes me proud is that this is not theory. It’s a shift in everyday habits: better conversations, stronger ownership, clearer thinking, and a more confident voice when it matters. And this is where the real impact shows: in collaboration, in decision-making, and in the team’s engagement and pride. This is not an HR initiative. It’s a business and leadership decision and a real transformation lever.
