A last glimpse of European summer! // english below Die größte Herausforderung bei Shootings, wo ich sowohl als Fotografin und Model gebucht werde, ist definitiv die Zeit vor Ort: Winkel finden, Stativ platzieren, in dem Fall noch ein weiteres Model koordinieren und dann via Fernauslöser die Aufnahmen machen, diese im Anschluss checken, ggf korrigieren und ein paar Varianten ausprobieren. Gerade wenn besondere Lichtstimmungen sind, wirds da manchmal kurz stressig - aber ich lieb die Herausforderung und in verschiedene Rollen zu schlüpfen. Früher hab ich mich gescheut, zu erzählen, dass ich auch nebenbei als Model arbeite - bis ich vor Jahren Nima Benati (eine sensationelle Fotografin aus Italien) entdeckt habe, die riesige Kampagnen fotografiert und dabei selbst modelt. Find your niche and make it work! :) Und besonders bei Aufträgen, die sehr kurzfristig sind, nur eine handvoll Fotos mit Person gewünscht sind oder die Location super abgelegen ist, kommt meine Doppel-Rolle sehr gelegen. Und jetzt noch kurz zu meinem wunderbaren Kunden: Die Villa Alma am Wolfgangsee, unweit von Salzburg. Dieses kleine Juwel liegt direkt am See und was soll ich sagen: Wir haben den perfekten Sommertag am See durchgespielt! Take me back to paradise ____ One of the biggest challenges when I’m booked both as a photographer and model is definitely time on set: finding the right angles, setting up the tripod, coordinating another model, triggering the camera remotely - and then checking, adjusting, and trying a few variations. When the light is changing quickly, it can get a little hectic… but I honestly love it. I enjoy stepping into different roles. For a long time, I hesitated to mention that I also work as a model - until I discovered Nima Benati, a phenomenal Italian photographer who shoots major campaigns and models in them herself. That inspired me to embrace my own hybrid role. Find your niche and make it work. ✨ Especially for last-minute projects, remote locations, or when only a few lifestyle shots with people are needed, this dual role becomes a real advantage.
