In Padova next week? With my new FIS2 project – ‘PersoNa - Personal Narratives in Climate Litigation' that I coordinate as Principal Investigator at the Università degli Studi di Padova we will host on 18 June a scientific symposium. It will be a great occasion to meet the PersoNa team Carlo Mazzoleni, Alexandra D'Angelo, Giacomo Giorgini Pignatiello, and Stefano Cisternino, and the project’s expanding network. The event will bring together researchers, professionals, civil society and artists to explore how the personal narratives of climate-affected communities are incorporated into legal proceedings. There will also be testimonies from real climate court cases and a participatory art-based session where we will hear from the direct experience of a climate-displaced person from Pakistan. The event is free and you can also follow online (registration required). Loes van Dijk (Climate Court, EU Climate Pact NL Ambassador) delivers the keynote. Claudia Marcolungo (University of Padua) and Giuseppe Naglieri (Università degli Studi di Bari) react. A participatory artistic session follows. Then the practice panel: Yvan Maillard Ardenti (HEKS, Asmania et al. vs Holcim), Lucia Pozzato (claimant, La Giusta Causa), Filippo Garelli (A Sud Ecologia e Cooperazione APS, Giudizio Universale), and Francesco Facchinelli (Just Fossil Fuel Transitions Centre, Mecheros case). ➡️ 18 June 2026, 14:00–19:00 CEST 🛕 Palazzo del Bo, Padova | also online ✒️ Register: https://lnkd.in/duVJAFJN
