After nearly ten years at LinkedIn, I was impacted by the recent layoffs. While this wasn’t how I imagined my journey here would end, I leave with nothing but gratitude. Looking back, I’m most thankful for how much I grew during my time here. Every challenge, every transition, and every setback taught me something. They pushed me outside my comfort zone, shaped the way I think about engineering, and helped me become a better engineer—and a better person. I’ve come to realize that growth rarely happens during the easy moments. It comes from the unfamiliar challenges, the setbacks, and the opportunities that push us beyond what we think we’re capable of. I’m grateful to have had so many of those opportunities throughout my journey at LinkedIn. What I’ll cherish the most are the people. I had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented teammates, mentors, and leaders who challenged me, supported me, and inspired me every day. Much of what I know today is because of them. To everyone I had the opportunity to work with along the way—thank you. It has truly been a privilege. Ten years is a long chapter. I’m grateful for every page of it. Here’s to the next one.
