The recent Germany‑UK Business Government Forum provided an important platform for Anglo American to participate in a high‑level roundtable alongside UK‑German industry and policy stakeholders. Our purpose at the meeting was to present Anglo American’s role in supporting resilient, competitive and future‑focused industrial supply chains across Europe. As part of the roundtable discussions, we focused on: • Shifting from broad resilience narratives toward concrete project framework conditions • Highlighting raw materials as critical enablers of industrial competitiveness and investable infrastructure for Europe’s industrial base, including their relevance to security and sovereignty • Positioning Anglo American as a delivery partner for upstream projects in Europe and for industry‑linked supply chains through allied countries • Showcasing the Woodsmith Project as a tangible example of UK‑Germany industrial cooperation, long‑term supply and modern, high‑standard mining as well as our exploration work in Germany. During the series of events, including the high‑level roundtable hosted by the British Embassy Berlin, our Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer, Richard Price, met with Ministers Katherina Reiche and Peter Kyle. In addition, Anglo American hosted a roundtable attended by Parliamentary Secretary of State Stefan Rouenhoff, marking another important milestone in strengthening our collaborations.
