There is something about Lazure that I think about often. It is a 300-year-old building, a former Venetian military hospital, that now holds one of the most genuinely lovely summer experiences I know. And what strikes me most is how well it works for a shared summer. Not a summer where everyone tolerates each other's needs. A summer where everyone's needs are simply met. The children have their own pool. The beach connects directly to the main pool, so nobody has to choose. The family rooms are genuinely spacious, not an afterthought. And when the adults want their own moment, Atmosphere Spa is there, with its indoor pool and hammam, waiting quietly. Then in the evening, everyone meets at Rosemarine, looking out over the Bay of Kotor, and the whole day comes together at one table. This is what "summer, shared" means to me. Not compromise.
