CEO of Intertek and author of Leadership with Soul

Last week, I was back in North America where I had the chance to meet my Intertek Building & Construction colleagues in Miami, Houston and Cleveland. The visits started with tours of our lab facilities, followed by energising Townhalls, where we reflected on the incredible results achieved so far this year. In Houston, I attended as the unveiling of Intertek’s first Cone Penetration Testing services, which plays a vital role in measuring soil resistance and pore water pressure – an important milestone that significantly expands our geotechnical capabilities for clients in Texas. I was also excited to hear managers from our Building & Construction business in North America lay out their 2030 vision and action plans, showing everyone the passion and drive that take our business to the next level. As part of these visits, I also had the opportunity to recognise individual team members for their dedication, inspiring commitment to customer excellence and present long service awards. Particular congratulations go to Jeremy A. Cottrell, LEP, Cruz Fernandez, Carlos Castro, Adel Guerrero, Diana Placeres, Evan Emerson, Michael Rothenburg from Miami! And to Mike Carr, Kadeem Moten, Emma T. Perez-Brooks, Armando Villarreal, Lizeth Ascencio, Lorena Kirby, Yovani Villanueva, Alfonso Quinonez, Hao Huynh, Richard Bob, Akermon Moore, Sam Loughhead, Darlene P., Cinthia Hill from the Houston team! To Rodney Eubank, Paul Bowyer, Jeanette Dezelan, Mark Valentine, Mike Santori and Kevin O'Neal in Cleveland! A big thanks to the Miami, Houston and Cleveland teams – your hard work, energy and expertise are making a real difference for our clients. #Intertek #Miami #Houston #Cleveland
