I spoke with Cornelis Boon of Reformatorisch Dagblad about the recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, Ukraine’s path toward full EU membership, and the importance of advancing our EU accession process in a timely manner.  We also discussed Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability and combat corruption. We are tackling corruption on all fronts while simultaneously defending our country against Russia’s aggression. Despite the immense challenges and limited resources imposed by wartime conditions, Ukraine continues to make tangible progress in implementing reforms and strengthening democratic institutions. I also emphasized the importance of achieving a just and lasting peace.
