♻️ Successful start-up in Portugal! A Penteadora SA has successfully commissioned a complete ANDRITZ mechanical textile recycling line and needlepunch nonwoven line at its Unhais da Serra facility. The new installation transforms pre- and post-consumer textile waste into high-value nonwoven products for applications such as thermal insulation, acoustic barriers, and protective solutions. A key highlight is the advanced picker technology, enabling the efficient removal of buttons, zippers, and other hard elements to improve material quality and process efficiency.
