Customer Relationship Manager at IWS
Sometimes, showing value means rolling your sleeves up. 💧🐔 One of the things I enjoy most about being an Account Manager is that sometimes the best way to support a customer isn’t from behind a desk or through a report. Sometimes, it’s putting the PPE on and getting stuck in. Last week, Sharjeel Nazik, Nouman Khalil and I spent the day flushing and cleaning the sight tubes on 166 drinker lines for one of our customers ahead of bird placement. Was it glamorous? Definitely not. Was it hot? Absolutely. 🌡️🥵 In full PPE, working in temperatures well above 35°C, it was a proper day’s graft. As with any job of this scale, we faced a few challenges along the way. Things didn’t always go exactly to plan, but we worked through them together, adapted when we needed to, and ultimately got the job done to the standard our customer deserved. One of the best things farming taught me was to appreciate hard work. No moaning, no complaining—just get your head down, solve the problems in front of you, and keep moving forward. By the end of the day, we’d earned this photo. 📸 I wanted to take it because I knew it would be one of those days I’d look back on and remember. Three of us, exhausted, covered in sweat, but with a genuine sense of achievement knowing we’d overcome the challenges and left those sheds in the best possible condition for the incoming birds. Because water treatment isn’t just about chemicals, pumps and equipment. It’s about supporting customers, solving problems, and sometimes getting your hands dirty to make sure the job is done right. A big thank you to SJ and Nouman for their hard work, resilience and teamwork throughout the day. 👏 Days like this remind me why I enjoy what I do. #WaterTreatment #PoultryFarming #Agriculture #Biosecurity #AnimalHealth #Teamwork #CustomerService #HardWork #PoultryIndustry #IWS #FarmLife #GettingStuckIn #ProblemSolving #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork 💧🐔🚜
