In this week's episode of The Lucid Interval, I interviewed Professor Larissa Carneiro, a religious studies scholar at Duke University who studies the science of spirituality. Larissa is an expert in psychedelic religions of the Amazon, syncretism, and early modern science. She also teaches a class in the science and magic of Harry Potter, and yes, she would be everyone's favorite Herbology professor at Hogwarts.
