Everything looked normal on the passenger flight from Amsterdam to Hamburg – but it was a very special moment for aviation. Today, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines , INERATEC, Hamburg Airport and MB Energy jointly enabled a regular passenger flight using a blend of synthetic kerosene produced in Europe and handled entirely via existing infrastructure. No demo setup – just a standard commercial flight with real passengers on board and a new kind of fuel in the tanks. From a Power‑to‑Liquid plant in Germany, through processing and blending by MB Energy at ASG Analytik‑Service, to refuelling at Amsterdam Airport, the entire value chain ran under real‑world conditions. This first passenger flight in Germany on a synthetic kerosene blend shows what’s technically possible today – and how alternative fuels can be integrated into existing operations. For our customers and partners, the message is clear:  ✈️ Alternative synthetic kerosene can cut lifecycle emissions  ✈️ The supply chain from production to wing‑tip already works  ✈️ Commercial demand and policy support will be critical to scaling volumes and closing the gap between ambition and availability Picture: Arnoud Raeven  #MBEnergy #OurEnergyYourWay #Aviation
