This resonates strongly with what I see in banking transformation today. The real shift is not only that AI makes software development faster. It changes who is able to build. When domain experts can translate their knowledge directly into working applications, the bottleneck moves: From coding capacity to clarity of thinking. From specifications to governance. From project structures to quality, control and adoption. For banks, this is both exciting and uncomfortable. Because the future will not belong to institutions that simply “use AI”. It will belong to those that combine deep business expertise, strong engineering discipline and responsible governance. The prompt may become part of the product.
