The new research institute "Der Simulierte Mensch" (Si-M) opened yesterday, 22.4.26. Engineers, researchers and clinicians from Technische Universität Berlin and Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin will explore new human model systems, to model human physiology and pathophysiology ex vivo, in vitro, and in silico, to seek out cure for diseases - to boldly go where no woman and man have gone before.
