PLM Masterplan: Transitioning from Strategy to Scaled Execution In 2021, we started the PLM Masterplan with a clear ambition: to establish a strong PLM strategy for Siemens Energy and to harmonize and streamline the PLM landscape following the carve‑out. Over time, the PLM Masterplan evolved into a key Siemens Energy program, supporting the S4 Energy rollout while consistently anchoring decisions in the jointly defined strategic guidance of our PLM community. Following the final Steering Committee with GT, GS and TI we are now deliberately transitioning into the next phase. The PLM Masterplan - apart from everything you can find in attached poster - enabled the birth and ramp‑up of PLM360 and Janus as operational execution projects by providing a strong PLM foundation and clear, consistent architectural direction. At the same time, it established enterprise‑wide alignment across Key Design Decisions (KDDs), integration, and organizational change management (OCM), ensuring execution readiness and adoption at scale. Without this foundational work, these initiatives would not exist in their current form. My sincere thanks - To Bernd Schmalhorst and Christoph Poeter for leading the PLM Masterplan through its decisive phase - To Jelena Veer and Simon Itgenshorst for initiating the journey - lifting it to be a core Program for Siemens Energy - And to the 200+ colleagues directly involved, enabling impact for thousands across Siemens Energy This transition is not an endpoint. It is a conscious shift to a new mode — where execution power now sits with the operating projects and business areas, building on the strong foundation we have created together. #PLMMasterplan #SiemensEnergy #Transformation #Execution #S4Energy #EndToEnd
